The weathers been so rainy recently, and I had today off and may or may not have been hungover; so spent all day in bed watching Breaking Bad (almost finished season 3) I started to feel Christmassy so did some drawings for Christmas card ideas. I always start Christmas stuff too late so I need to be on the ball this year; especially if I end up with a daft amount of hours at my retail job from October onwards. Working in retail around Christmas is bad, this will be my 5th year doing it, eugh.
A custom piece that I did this week! It’s for a Friends Grandma whose sister had a similar bracelet that she always liked. I didn’t have a photograph of the original bracelet to go on, just a description that it had photos of different buildings inside beads like the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. I googled other famous buildings for ideas and did tiny drawings that I could scan to make even tinier for the bracelet (each bead is 18x18mm, just under 2 cm) It was fun to do a piece of Jewellery, not done anything like this in so long!
He/she has a stump for a tail because it’s dad plucked it’s chest, back & tail so that he could line the nest with the feathers. Fortunately they’re growing back now
Throwback Thursday: Not a drawing but when I clicked ‘random’ at the bottom of my blog this post came up and I couldnt resist reblogging it. Look how cute my baby looks! He’s all grown up now with beautiful ginger cheeks. I’m tempted to get him a girlfriend, but him and his Dad (unfortunately his mum Audrey died) are really noisy as it is
