I made this piece to announce our Wedding date to Friends & Family. The photograph is of Elsecar canal where we regularly walked #kimthewhippet, and the hands are mine & the Husabands hands 👐

Heres some advice for anyone who is currently planning a Wedding: You will have several breakdowns, and people will piss you off. Some people will get offended by your choices concerning your Wedding, and if you can get away with telling them to ‘fuck off’ I highly recommend it.

It’s you & your partners day, so invite who you want, & do what you want. If people truly care about you they will accept your choices ❤

Also, have a mini break before the Wedding 🌞 We spent a Weekend in Whitby a Month before we got Married & it helped me massively

Day 28 - Leonora Carrington
I drew a younger Carrington a few days ago, so decided to do a 2nd one from her later years “..Max Ernst later invited her to a party in Paris to be given by couturier Marcel Rochas. Leonora left immediately for France, arriving without a proper party dress. She asked the advice of a friend & clothing designer, Princess Maria de Garmon, who in appreciation of Leonora’s natural beauty, replied: ‘My child, you don’t need a thing’. When 19 year old Carrington arrived she was draped in a sheet, toga style, but when the party warmed up, she dropped the sheet on an impulse and stood naked before scandalized guests. She & Ernst were instantly ushered out”
